Our Sales Policy

GENERAL POLICIES

 

By placing a non refundable deposit on and/or purchasing our rabbit(s), you accept and agree to the following policies.

​

- We reserve the right to refuse any sale, to anyone, for any reason, at any time, without explanation.
- We will NOT ship rabbits, but  will try to help arrange delivery if possible.  

- If you buy a rabbit from us, you are considered family, please keep in touch
- No rabbit will be sold before 8 weeks of age for the health of the rabbit. NO EXCEPTIONS
- If you can no longer care for a rabbit you adopted from us, we will take it back.
- If you are asked to make a deposit to hold a rabbit, it is non-refundable.

- No sales to anyone under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian present at the time of sale.

         We support and encourage youth breeders, but want to ensure that parents are aware of the exchange.

- All sales are final.

QUALITY​

We offer 3 standard qualities of rabbits. Show, Breed, and Pet. ​

​

Show Quality- A show quality rabbit is free of disqualifications at the time of sale. This is a rabbit who is either proven on the show table, or one that I feel would place well within a competitive group of rabbits. However, based on the nature of competition, I cannot guarantee show success.​

​

Brood Quality- A brood quality rabbit is a rabbit I feel would be an asset to another herd as a breeding animal. Brood animals may have minor faults or non-genetic disqualifications that make them undesirable as show rabbits.​

​

Companion Quality- All of our rabbits are handled from the time of their birth and mature to be very friendly, family-oriented pets and companions. Companion quality rabbits may not be best suited as show or breeding animals because of undesirable physical traits, but make great companion pets.

       (We cannot guarantee any rabbit will win legs by saying Show Quality, it simply means there are no visible defects that would make that rabbit disqualified from any ARBA rabbit show when it leaves our rabbitry.  We also cannot guarantee health of the rabbit(s) after they leave our farm.  We selectively breed and try to offer only Show Quality, healthy animals worthy to become Grand Champions, however numerous other factors all make up a vital part of developing your rabbit, and overall well being.​)

SALES POLICY
We do not guarantee that any rabbit that is sold as a show quality rabbit will win any awards or competitions. The classification of the rabbit as show quality simply means that it is free of disqualifications at the time of sale. This is based on the opinion of R3. As your rabbit matures it may develop disqualifications that are not evident at the time of sale; this is not the responsibility of R3; but rather this is the risk we all incur as breeders. If you believe that your rabbit has a disqualification at the time of purchase it is your responsibility to bring this to our attention AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE for discussion. We make every possible effort to correctly sex your rabbit at time of sale, but please be aware that even the most seasoned breeders can make a mistake sexing a young rabbit.

HOLDING POLICY​

No deposit is required to be placed on a waiting list. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a specific rabbit, for any period of time. The remaining balance is due at the time of pickup. Rabbits will not be transferred without being paid for in full.​

METHOD OF PAYMENT​

At this time, we accept cash, money order, or PayPal only. No personal checks.​

​

​

TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY POLICY

When your rabbit is ready, arrangements can be made for delivery of your rabbit. Delivery is available in select areas free of charge. We will be happy to meet you at a public business place in town to pick up your new rabbit. Please e-mail us to make arrangements for pick up.​ Rabbits can also be picked up at our farm with an appointment only. We operate as a closed rabbitry and do not allow visits to our rabbitry out of consideration for our new and nursing moms and the safety of our other animals. Rabbits will be picked up on a separate portion of our property.

 

             VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO OUR RABBITRY (For more info see the Closed Rabbitry page).

 

You must bring your own pet carrier (or box) for your rabbit. You will not be provided with one. If purchasing more than one rabbit, please bring more than one carrier.​ Please be courteous of our time, and be prompt. Please call if you will be late or need to reschedule, we will do the same.

FOOD, WATER, HOUSING
Our rabbits are raised outdoors, in a secure area, protected from sun and rain. You are responsible for transitioning your rabbits to your climate. These rabbits are raised with high quality feed, fresh water, plenty of hay, and fresh produce. Your rabbit is delivered to you with no health issues that we are aware of at the time of sale. At the time of delivery you will be given transitional food for your rabbit. This is the food your rabbit has been eating while it has been in our care. It is your responsibility to successfully transition your rabbit to your own food, and watering system.

 

 

HEALTH GUARANTEE​

We guarantee the health of our rabbits while they are on our farm. We raise healthy rabbits free from any genetic defect. After delivery we cannot offer any further guarantee due to circumstances out of our control. If an illness or death occurs within 7 days of purchase, please contact us immediately. A replacement rabbit of equal quality or a monetary refund will be considered with a written diagnosis from a certified veterinarian. We will not be held responsible for veterinary or medical costs incurred.​

This health guarantee does not apply to situations involving illness or death created by unnecessary stress, neglect, mistreatment, overhandling, or mishandling. A refund will not be considered under these circumstances.​

EXCHANGES​

Rabbits are sold as is. You are responsible for evaluating your new rabbit thoroughly for disqualifications or other unwanted characteristics at the time of pick up. If you are not satisfied with the rabbit at the time of pickup, payment will be refunded, however all deposits are non-refundable. No refunds or replacements will be given once a rabbit leaves our property. At the time of sale, all rabbits are healthy to the best of our knowledge. You will NOT be reimbursed for any veterinary bills that occur during your ownership of the rabbit(s). We will not refund or exchange rabbits for any reason, other than the health guarantee described above, after they leave our care.​

LIFETIME RETURN POLICY​

When buying from R3, you gain lifetime support and advice from my farm. We love our rabbits very much and are happy to answer any questions you have over the lifetime of your rabbit.​

​

Also, while we hope that our rabbits are leaving to go to their forever homes, we understand that sometimes circumstances change. If you find that you can no longer provide the care that your rabbit needs, please contact us immediately. We welcome back any rabbit we have sold, at any time, free of charge. ​

LEGAL

R3 offers no implied guarantees regarding the purchase of listed rabbits. Guarantees are specifically limited to this policy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our sales policy, please feel free to send an e-mail with your questions.

 

By placing a non refundable deposit on and/or purchasing a rabbit from us you are agreeing to and accepting the above policies.
